Independent Age is a national charity with a bold mission: to ensure no one faces poverty in later life. As Director of Services, you’ll hold a pivotal senior leadership position, working closely with the Chief Executive to deliver the charity’s strategy and drive real, measurable change.

Leading a skilled and passionate team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-based services that reach those most in need. You will oversee a critical directorate with a remit spanning service transformation, external training, and strategic partnerships — all while embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion at the heart of everything you do.

We’re looking for an inspiring leader with a strong track record of delivering and evolving impactful services, managing organisational change, and achieving tangible social outcomes. You’ll bring strategic thinking, financial and operational acumen, and a people-first leadership style — alongside a deep commitment to the mission and values of Independent Age.
